The Campbell Page Moruya Youth Centre helped the Moruya Town to Surf Fun Run take off last Sunday the 13th of September. The Campbell Page Moruya team along with several young people participated in the race, with a Campbell Page van ready to hand out 100’s of water bottles to participants who reached the finish line.

The event kicked off at Riverside Park Moruya, followed by a scenic bike path towards South Heads and finishing up at the Surf Club itself. The Campbell Page crew invited their partners and families to help out on the day, with all proceeds going towards helping the Surf Club with costs including first aid equipment, patrol uniforms and community activities.

Campbell Page run Youth Services across both SA and NSW, including a Youth Refuge and Homelessness Centre as well as a Youth Centre in Moruya, NSW. The Moruya Refuge provides 24 hour crisis accommodation and personalised support for young people aged between 12-25 years old. The support program includes helping young people with decision making, developing life skills, participating in recreational activities as well as providing contacts for other support networks and services to help them get on track.

The Campbell Page Moruya Youth Centre further provides the young community with a touch point facility, where they can connect with our Youth Worker’s and other young people, as well as participate in recreational programs and receive assistance with their studies. The centre also run’s a school holidays program, as well as a space where young people can simply socialise and play pool or relax with a book!
