Last week Campbell Page’s Eden Hub and the Bega Valley Shire Council celebrated National Youth Week with their Fun In The Sun Colour Run!

Around 50 children and teens arrived eager to take part in the colour run which was funded by a grant that Campbell Page and Grand Pacific Health applied for through Bega Valley Shire Council.

The colour run saw all participants cross the finish line covered from head to toe in bright pink and blue with smiles on their faces. After the completion of the main event additional games were played amongst participants and their families, with the day ending in a well deserved sausage sizzle!

National Youth Week is an annual, week-long celebration of young people (aged 12–25) throughout Australia. Each year, all over Australia, events are planned and organised to celebrate and recognise the contribution of young people.

National Youth Week 2016 was held from 8 April to 17 April 2016.

Great work done by Campbell Page’s Eden Hub, Grand Pacific Health and Bega Valley Shire Council! To read more about the event visit The Eden Magnet’s website for a full article and gallery!
