Campbell Page Eden was back again this year hosting their third consecutive Colour Run event on 16 April 2018. This years run was held to celebrate Youth Week locally as part of national events held across Australia.

Youth Week provides an opportunity for young people to share ideas, attend live events, have their voices heard on issues of concern to them, showcase their talents, celebrate their contribution to the community, take part in competitions and importantly have fun!

Youth Week Eden Colour Fun Run

For Edens vibrant youth, there was no event more fitting. The Colour Run is a five-kilometre, un-timed event in which participants, or “Colour Runners”, dressed in white are doused from head to toe in different colours at each kilometre.

The popular event drew approximately 200 participants this year and, according to racegoers, it seems that the number of participants is growing each year.  The race was followed by entertainment including a jumping castle, hula hoop lessons and a free barbecue which brought together people (and dogs) of all ages for a day of family fun and community.

Campbell Page is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to making a difference in our communities. Our Youth and Family team work with young people and families to help them build a brighter future.
