Latest News from Campbell Page Green Army

As we draw to a close of the 2016 year, it’s a great opportunity to reflect on our achievements to date.  Over the course of the year, Green Army has grown from strength to strength achieving strong results across the board.  Here’s some of the milestones achieved throughout the year:

Green Army End of year 2016 - table of information
2016 saw a big expansion into Far North QLD where we continue to grow our presence and local support base, thanks to the successful achievements of the first round of projects.  Further support has been given to our projects through round 5 applications. Strong  support for our services was reflected through the number of round 5 applications we submitted.  We are confident that we will know more in the coming weeks on 5  project allocations and will communicate updates as they come through.

To our community partners, on behalf of Campbell Page, Skillset and TAFE Western we thank you for your ongoing support and commitment.  We see the efforts of our community partners every day in striving to achieve the best possible outcomes for your communities and local youth.  Many of you often work  behind the scenes,  with few resources and in your own time.  We appreciate and value all of these efforts and look forward to partnering with your organisations in the new year. We all put in a lot of effort behind the scenes to make the Green Army Programme successful and enjoyable.

Last but not least, its our dedicated team of Supervisors and participants who attend site each day with commitment and passion.  Without dedicated leaders like our Team Supervisors, our, participants would have a vastly different experience in the programme.  The participant satisfaction levels achieved throughout 2016 are directly attributed to your efforts as team supervisors – well done.  And of course, thanks to all of the participants (current and past) who turn up enthusiastically to undertake the activities and learn more about your communities.  Without your  efforts, there simply would not be a program.

Next year, the programmes focus will be on increasing training  completions and creating more employment opportunities for our participants in addition to the environmental activities being undertaken.

In summary, 2016 has been a fantastic year, attributed to a lot of effort from a lot of different people across a large number of organisations, internally and externally.

Thank you and we look forward to an even bigger year of achievements.

Campbell Page/Skillset and Tafe Western.
