Naranga School Careers ExpoPosted on March 28, 2018
Earlier this week Campbell Page attended the Naranga School Careers Expo. The Naranga Careers Expo was a small community event facilitated by the Careers Coordinator, Elaine Louder. The Naranga School is for secondary schools students with mild assisted learning needs.
Elaine approached Campbell Page directly after hearing from the local National Disability Coordination Officer Program and that Campbell Page is developing a youth strategy with local secondary schools.
We were very lucky to have been selectively invited in this way. – Chloe Span, Campbell Page Partnerships Coordinator
Lee-Ann Cockburn, Campbell Page Community Engagement Coordinator for Bayside and Peninsula, did an amazing job at connecting with many students and their families.
Just being able to chat with them in person about the benefits of having additional support in getting practical work experience and paid employment is such a privilege for us. – Chloe
Chloe and Lee-Ann are in the process of organising some presentations to the students directly during school hours.
