The Eurobodalla Baby Expo is now in it’s 5th year and is showing no signs of disappearing from the local calendar any time soon. With over 700  people walking through the expo and more than 30 organisations highlighting their services, this years expos has been the most successful to date.

The Eurobodalla Family Network have come together and recognised a gap in the Eurobodalla for a community event that showcases the wonderful services available to local families. Now in our fifth year our event has become a fun family day out which our local families look forward to. – Anita Macartney, Campbell Page

Organised by by Campbell Page‘s Anita Macartney, the fantastic initiative showcases the wide array of community and health services available in the area for local families and expectant parents. Two of services on the day were Drive Thru Child Seat Restraint Safety Check, which was offered by the Eurobodalla Shire Council and serviced over 15 vehicles on the day and Share the Dignity. This was the first year that the expo was an official collection point for Share the Dignity, a campaign that aims to ensure women at risk have access to personal and sanitary items when they need it the most.

Campbell Page offered a range of services on the day including a very successful Clothing Swap with many families bringing along their second hand clothing to swap with clothes at our stall. Even families who didn’t bring any clothing to swap were encouraged to take some good quality clothing for free.

Our clothing swap was well utilised on the day as families recognise that with the increase in the cost of living, it is important to recycle ‘new to you’ clothing which is still in good condition. – Tracy Gilbert, Local Mum and Stall Coordinator

yoga

To ensure this is a fun day out for the entire family Campbell Page also provided free entertainment from DJ Matt Brown, Inomni Yoga, Dancing Owls Music, PCYC boxing, magic with The Great Zamboni, a jumping castle, a fire truck, a smoke house and an ambulance.
