What is a Disability?

You don’t need to be diagnosed as having a disability to be eligible for Disability Employment Services. Whilst it is called Disability Employment Services, the term ‘disability’ actually refers to a wide range of health conditions, injuries and illnesses.

If you’ve been diagnosed with any kind of limitation, restriction or impairment, whether temporary or permanent, that affects your everyday activities and potentially your employment, you may be eligible for DES.
